Jimin of BTS won K-pop Song of the Year at this year's iHeartRadio Music Awards of the U.S. (iHeart Radio Music Awards)

K-pop has again shown its major presence on the global music market.
Jimin of BTS, Stray Kids and ATEEZ on March 17 all earned honors at the iHeartRadio Music Awards of the U.S.
Listing this year's winners, the iHeartRadio website said Jimin won K-pop Song of the Year for "Who," the title track from his second solo album. The hit has stayed on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart of the U.S. for 32 consecutive weeks.
Boy band Stray Kids' EP "Ate" won K-pop Album of the Year.
Fellow boy band ATEEZ, who actively promoted their "Golden Hour" EP series and world tour, won K-pop Artist of the Year.
ILLIT's "Magnetic" earned the new girl group K-pop Best New Artist.
For Favorite K-pop Dance Challenge, an honor decided by fan votes, Yeonjun from the boy band TOMORROW X TOGETHER, aka TXT, won for his song "Ggum."
Launched in 2014, the iHeartRadio Awards are hosted by the U.S.-based online radio station iHeartRadio. The honors recognize the acts and songs played the most on the site and its app in a given year, with some decided by fan voting.
